About ISLAND INNOVATOR
ISLAND INNOVATOR is a state-of-the-art drilling rig operating on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The rig is equipped with advanced FIFI systems that are vital for the safety of personnel and the installation itself. Comprehensive Certification Scope
The assignment covers annual certification of all FIFI components on board, including:
- Fire suppression systems – Inspection and testing of all primary and secondary systems.
- Foam systems – Verification of foam pumps, dosing units, and storage tanks.
- Water cannons and monitors – Functional testing and pressure control of deck monitors.
- Emergency fire pumps – Capacity checks and verification of readiness.
